My apologies, everyone

It seems to be harder than usual lately to find time to do much on here, so I hope you all haven't given up checking long ago. Here's some new news and hopefully a few new pictures.

Caleb's joined the volunteer fire dept here in Freeport. He's loving it and keeping busy with that - all hours of the day and night...
He also now has a recurring preaching slot at church, every second and fourth Wednesday. This is his first month preaching that.

Alisa is fat and happy, still not crawling, getting opinionated, etc. What else can I say? She loves her oatmeal.

I'm doing the same old stuff - keeping house, teaching piano, raising the kid. Keeps me busy.

Ok ya'll...you're going to have to forgive me for this, but I don't have any pictures to post today. Just wanted to say that Alisa was born September 11 at 9 in the morning. She weighed 4 pounds 7 ounces and was 18 inches long. That evening she took her first plane ride to Austin and I went by ambulance to Brackenridge hospital because of the hurricane. She stayed in neonatal ICU for a week under jaundice lights before she was released the next thursday. Thankfully our house was ok, and cleaned (thanks to Olivia). Shes been home for three weeks and turned a month old yesterday. Hopefully pictures soon....

And for everyone who's not sure how her name is pronounced, it's Uh-lee-suh. say it with me now..

August 23

I've been trying to get a few things done while I still have time....and/or energy...so this week I had some friends over to help me do some ridiculous chores and help organize my baby room. They worked circles around me and I think I was more tired than they were at the end of the day. =o) that does not bode well...

I have about seven weeks to go, give or take a few days. I actually want to push for seven weeks from yesterday for an induction date. I'm going to start badgering every DR I see between now and then to give me a set date. Mom's trying to make plans to come and be here for the birth without knowing exactly when it will be. That's a challenge...

I have yet another ultrasound next friday. Caleb is finally going to go with me (since it's the day before our anniversary it was a good argument to take a half-day off work). It seems like my life is spent at doctor's offices right now. But it's coming to an end...
